Locals are most commonly spotted in the early evenings as they drive downtown for dinner to briefly escape suburbia. They usually travel in couples and can be found at the best restaurants that college kids and visitors don’t know about. Locals walk slowly, enjoying the scenery of downtown life and checking out the newest window displays at stores.

- I think that my life is pretty boring aside from the occasional great story that usually includes me being embarrassed or making a fool out of myself in some way. My sister thinks that my life is like a TV sitcom. Maybe an unsuccessful one that is discontinued after its first season, totally unlike “My So-Called Life” because that show is amazing. No, I’m thinking more like Kid Nation or Midget Bachelor. Whether or not these stories or episodes entertain those who stumble across them, it will occupy my free time on my first summer off.
